Educational Goals

Since its founding, our university has presented the of cultivating female leaders equipped with knowledge, virtues, and skills based on Christian values, and established the following three (Educational Goals) :

Cultivating Professionals:
Acquiring knowledge and skills in one’s major field, and cultivating scientific ability, critical and comprehensive thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Cultivating Christian Value:
Establishing the correct values based on the Christian spirit and producing leaders with a mature personality and love for humanity.
Cultivating Practitioners:
Utilizing specialized knowledge to realize the values and social justice of a democratic society while also contributing to national cultural development and the broader international community.In the Fourth Mid-to-Long Term Development Plan, while inheriting the that has continued since the university's founding, we reinterpreted and presented the as 'Nurturing PLUS-type talents promoting social value to shape the future, understand the changing world around us, and cement the university's identity.

Talent Cultivation

To achieve the educational purpose of 'Nurturing PLUS-type talents leading social value,' our university defines talent in the following manner: 'professionals with emotional cognitive ability,' 'talents practicing open attitudes and horizontal cooperation,' and 'leaders expanding community spirit.' In the Fourth Mid-to-Long Term Development Plan, the core competencies that "PLUS-type talents" should have are presented as follows:

Creative Problem Development and Solving Ability:
The ability to identify and solve important social issues based on critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
Emotional Cognitive Ability:
The ability to drive social change based on an understanding of humanity and emotional interpretive power.
Global Citizen Competency:
The ability to expand and practice community spirit based on horizontal cooperation among members as independent individuals.
Digital Literacy Competency:
The ability to understand and utilize information and communication technology produced and shared through advanced technology and an understanding and analysis of processed data.
