Visa and Part-time Work Permission

International students must apply for a residence card at the Immigration Office of the Korean Government within 90 days from the date of arrival in Korea. Once registered, a Residence Card will be issued, which is required in various situations. Students are legally required to carry it at all times. Alien registration must be completed at the Immigration Office with jurisdiction over the area of residence. Those who stay in Korea for more than 90 days without completing registration will be considered illegal residents and may be subject to penalties under Korean law.

- Certificate of Enrollment (for D-2 visa holders)
- Confirmation of Residence (one of the following):
- Rental contract (if not under the student’s name, an additional Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation is required)
- Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation
Please note that additional documents may be required depending on the applicant’s nationality and visa type.
In some cases, the application may be processed as a group through the university. For further details, students are advised to contact the International Affairs Office.
