The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), administered by the Korean government, is designed for non-native Korean speakers. It helps learners identify their Korean language learning direction, measures Korean proficiency, and allows the results to be used for study abroad and employment opportunities.
How to Apply
TOPIK is held six times a year (January, March, April, July, October, and November). Detailed test schedules are announced on the official TOPIK website.
TOPIK levels are divided into:
TOPIK I (Levels 1–2) for beginners
TOPIK II (Levels 3–6) for intermediate and advanced learners
The proficiency level is determined according to the test results.
Detailed information regarding test registration can be found on the TOPIK website.
