Seoul Women’s University, a university ordained by God, is established in 1961 by the Presbyterian Church of Korea, it has become an elite women’s university that has produced many female professionals and leaders who have contributed to the development of Korean society. Now, our vision is to cultivate 21st-century talent who will awaken the world and serve with commitment.
The Division of International Affairs consists of the International Affairs Team, International Student and Scholar Services, and the Korean Language Center. Its core duties and responsibilities are providing new study abroad options, pathway programs, and support services to ensure that domestic and international students have access to a greater range of quality undergraduate and graduate opportunities. Dedicated to enhancing the robust international community and to fostering cross-cultural experience, the Division of International Affairs reaches beyond Korean borders to promote global diversity in our programs and on campus by nurturing global female leaders with knowledge, virtue, and expertise.
I can truly say that even a short time studying overseas can change your dreams and aspirations. The first university to receive the prestigious Character Education Award from the Korean Ministry of Education for its Bahrom Character Education Program, studying at Seoul Women's University provides a wealth of opportunities to experience its excellent education programs and the best of the Korean lifestyle.
