About the Major

Software convergence technology involves planning, designing, developing, and operating software used in various industries such as finance, machinery, media, construction, medicine, and defense, in addition to computers and mobile devices. The Department of Software Convergence aims to cultivate talents with both foundational knowledge in various IT convergence fields and advanced abilities in new software applications and implementations. The curriculum includes basic courses such as introduction to software, programming, and web design, and advanced courses like image processing, computer graphics, virtual reality, DIY design, IoT programming, and HCI. The department offers programs for deep learning of software-related technologies in IT convergence fields, effective problem-solving, collaboration through comprehensive project design, career exploration seminars with industry experts, and a master's program for advanced growth.
