The Graduate School of Education was established on October 30, 1996. It seeks to nurture leaders based on Christian principles, teaching and researching the theories and applications of academic disciplines. The goal is to foster original abilities, contributing to national and social development. The current Graduate School building (Gomyung Woo Memorial Hall) was newly constructed on November 30, 1983.
The first Dean of the Graduate School of Education was Dr. Yoo Eun Sang, who was also the 10th Dean of the General Graduate School. The school opened its doors in 1997 with four initial programs: Korean Language Education, English Language Education, Counseling Psychology, and Computer Education.
As of 2023, the Graduate School of Education offers 4 master’s programs (Korean Language Education, Counseling Psychology, Early Childhood Education, and Physical Education) and has produced 727 master’s graduates.
