About the Major

Food and Nutrition is a field that systematically studies and researches dietary habits to promote productive living and improve public health. The department aims to enhance nutritional education through both theoretical and practical courses. The curriculum includes courses in nutrition, life cycle nutrition, dietary management and practice, food science, culinary principles and practice, clinical nutrition, dietary therapy and practice, institutional foodservice management and practice, nutrition education and practice, and nutrition assessment and practice. Graduates are trained as professional researchers or dietitians with qualifications to contribute to scientific dietary management, improving public health and nutrition.
