About the Major

The Department of Economics focuses on studying and researching theories related to the circulation, growth, distribution, and formation of external economic relations of the national economy, the backbone of an industrial society. It then seeks to foster the practical application of this knowledge. Additionally, the department prepares students for the rapid advancement and specialization of Korean industries by providing opportunities to acquire and apply practical knowledge in economic analysis, financial analysis, and statistical processing, thus producing competent female professionals ready for take their place in society.
