About the Major

The digital media industry today is expanding into new media, online media, and immersive media, based on ICT, the growth engine of the 4th Industrial Revolution. This industry's influence extends beyond physical spaces and into virtual realms. Future talents must predict the development of advanced technologies and address emerging societal demands with foundational knowledge and creativity. Digital media involves producing and utilizing various digital products such as images, apps, audio, video, and VR/AR by integrating them with diverse IT technologies. The Department of Digital Media educates students on understanding the concepts and characteristics of digital media, programming and designing 3D media, VR, AR, web and mobile applications, user interaction, and applying these in practice. The department also offers specialized education focusing on global cultural technology trends and industry needs.
