About the Major
Child Studies aims to nurture experts who can understand and educate infants, children, and adolescents based on the latest educational and psychological research. The curriculum includes foundational courses suitable for understanding the developmental characteristics of infancy, childhood, and adolescence (e.g., infant development, child development, adolescent psychology, educational theory, child observation and behavior research), as well as applied courses (e.g., early childhood education theory, curriculum development, program evaluation, psychological behavior analysis, child clinical psychology, psychological testing, language guidance). Through field research in early childhood education institutions and child psychology organizations, the major integrates academic and practical approaches to develop child studies professionals.
