About the Major

The biohealth industry is leading the 4th Industrial Revolution. It is an advanced scientific technology sector based on life sciences, chemistry, medicine, and pharmacy, creating new bio products and developing technologies to treat human diseases and maintaining health. The Department of Biohealth Convergence, established in 2023, aims to nurture talents needed in the biohealth industry and develop and operate courses tailored to students' career aspirations. Freshmen participate in various programs for career selection and learning goals. During the first three years, students choose from seven major tracks (Cell Applications, New Drug Development, Developmental Engineering, Cosmetic Materials, Cosmetic Formulation, Cosmetic Analysis, Biohealth Business Development) and study theoretical and practical courses aligned with industry needs. In the fourth year, students engage in field training and internships in collaboration with industries, verifying their major competencies and aptitudes, thus preparing for successful careers or further studies after graduation.
